Managers and admins, because it writes to records for the whole service. Others are shown the one-at-a-time route instead.

Yes. Add young people one at a time from the new record page. It takes their contacts and consents in the same form.

Go back from the check with Change the columns. Nothing has been saved at that point.

The check could not decide what it was, for example whose contact it is. Fix it in the file and bring that row in again.

A file of young people is recognised row by row, so saved rows are not made twice. Contacts, goals, consents and referrals are only added, so bring in just the rows that were not saved.

Up to four megabytes and two thousand rows at a time. Split a bigger file and bring the parts in one after another.

No. A scan or photograph has no text in it. Send the original Word document or PDF.

Start with the file of young people. The other kinds are added to records that already exist.

Each row must say which young person it is about. Add the reference code, or the name and date of birth together.

Yes. The page finds the heading row and tells you how many lines above it were passed over.

Yes, if it is a spreadsheet. Map its columns on the screen and save the mapping so the next file arrives matched.

For two weeks after it was saved. The date is shown beside it. After that the records belong to the service and cannot be undone here.

Someone changed that record after the import, so the undo did not touch it. It is still saved. Look at it by hand.

Press Show the rows that were not saved on that import. Each row names the reason.

Only for a file of young people, where saved rows are recognised. For the other kinds, bring in just the rows that were refused.

It puts back what the import changed, unless someone has changed a record since. The result says how many were put back and how many were left alone.

Managers and admins, the same people who can run one.

The old importer is switched off. Use the Import Studio for the pupil spreadsheet. It previews everything before saving.

Not by this route. The old importer recorded every past incident as a new open concern and lost its category. Ask for help instead.

Not through these pages. Attendance is not imported by them.

Admins. Anyone else is told the admin role is needed.
