Read questionnaire scores and parent feedback

See how forms are scoring, where people stop, what the lowest questions are, and what parents and carers are telling you.

Checked against the screens:

Every organisation can choose its own words for the people and roles it works with. When you are signed in, this guide uses your organisation’s words. Otherwise it uses the product’s own.

Insights is for managers and admins. It needs the Questionnaires section, and the organisation view counts only what you can see.

Steps

  1. Open Questionnaires, then the Overview tab. The five figures at the top include the All-time score and the Submission rate.
  2. Read Last 12 weeks for the trend. Hover a dot to see the week.
  3. Open the breakdowns. Score by audience shows how parents, colleagues and others rate you. Check which forms score where.
  4. Read Lowest-scoring questions. They are the best places to dig in.
  5. Read Recent free-text comments, then press Read all responses for the full list.
  6. For families, open Parent feedback to see Parent responses, who is Awaiting feedback and the form itself.

If it goes wrong

  • A dash means there is nothing to calculate yet. Send some forms or wait for answers.
  • If there are no parent invitations, send a parent report. Its email carries the feedback link.
  • If a number looks off, press Read all responses and check the underlying answers.

The headline figures

  • All-time score: the average of scored answers out of 5.
  • Score · last 30 days: the same average over the last month, with a note on whether it is up or down.
  • Submission rate: the share of sent forms that were completed, with the numbers.
  • Sent · last 30 days: how many went out in the last month and how many came back.
  • Total responses: all completed forms, ever.

Breakdowns

Open the section called Audience, template and question breakdowns. It scores by audience, which forms score highest or lowest with how many responses stand behind each, and the six lowest-scoring questions. Use it to choose what to improve first.

Free-text comments

The latest written answers appear word for word, with the audience, the form and the date. Comments can contain personal detail. Read them in context, and follow your safeguarding process if one raises a concern.

Parent and carer feedback

Open the Parent feedback tab. It shows parent responses, the average score, how many are awaiting feedback and how many links expired, from the latest 200 invitations. Below are the most recent invitations, the parent form and a short account of how a report leads to feedback.

The parent form

Preview form shows what families see. Nothing you do in a preview is saved or sent. Edit form opens the form in the editor. View feedback results opens its completion analytics.

Who sees it

Only managers and admins. Others are told a manager or admin role is needed.

Scores are averaged from scale answers across submitted forms. Parent replies come from the link in the half-term report email, so sending reports leads to more feedback here. Free-text comments are shown as written. Lowest-scoring questions point you at the form editor.
