See completion results for one questionnaire

Check how many people were invited, how many finished, where they stopped, and the average score on each scale question.

Checked against the screens:

Every organisation can choose its own words for the people and roles it works with. When you are signed in, this guide uses your organisation’s words. Otherwise it uses the product’s own.

This page is for managers and admins. It covers one form at a time.

Steps

  1. Open the form's results. For the parent form, open Parent feedback and press View feedback results.
  2. Read the three figures: Invitations sent, Submitted and Submission rate. The page is headed Completion analytics.
  3. If a note says the counts include only the children you can see, remember other people may see different totals.
  4. Read Drop-off by question. It shows how many answered each question, and the response rate.
  5. Find the first question where the rate drops sharply. People are giving up there.
  6. Read Average scores for scale questions. Then go back to the form editor and improve the weak spots.

If it goes wrong

  • If it says no responses yet, nobody has finished the form. Check the invitations list for ones still pending.
  • If the page says a manager or admin role is needed, ask your admin.
  • If the numbers look low, check whether links expired before people opened them.

The three figures

Invitations sent counts every invitation made for this form. Submitted counts those completed. Submission rate is submitted divided by sent, shown as a percentage. A low rate usually means links were not opened, not that people disliked the form.

Drop-off by question

The table lists each question with how many people answered it and the response rate, with a small bar. A sharp fall at one question suggests it is hard to answer, too long, or sensitive. Consider making it optional or rewording it.

Average scores

For questions that use a scale, such as stars, you see the average score and how many responses stand behind it. Treat an average from a handful of responses with caution.

Who is counted

The counts include only children you are allowed to see. When your access is narrower than the whole organisation, a note at the top says so.

Questions people ask

How do I get to this page?

For the parent form, open the Parent feedback tab and press View feedback results.

What is the submission rate?

It is the share of invitations for this form that were completed.

What does drop-off mean?

It is where people stop answering. A big fall at one question suggests that question is putting people off.

Why do my numbers differ from a colleague's?

The counts include only the children each person can see. A note at the top says when that applies.

Does it show who answered?

No. This page shows counts and averages. Open an invitation on the Responses tab to read an answer.
