For everyone who has work to do. My tasks collects every job waiting on you across all your young people. The list refreshes by itself.
Steps
- Open the tasks page from the link on Home, or from a notice that points to it.
- Read the three tiles: Overdue, This week and Later. Start with anything overdue.
- To see one kind of job, use the chips under Show. Select more than one to combine them.
- Find the job in its list. The coloured label says what kind it is, such as Sent back or Sign-off.
- Press Open to go straight to the page where the work is done.
- Finish the work there. The job disappears from the list by itself once it is done.
If it goes wrong
- If a chip shows Nothing of that kind, clear the filter by choosing All.
- If a job is marked Yours · another manager signs, you cannot sign your own work. Another manager must.
- If a job will not leave the list after you did the work, refresh. If it stays, tell your manager.
How it links together
Tasks are built from work held in other places: write-ups, plans, reports, consents and checks. Nothing here is stored separately, so a job leaves the list only when its work is done.
Home shows a summary of the same list, and the inbox tells you when a new job arrives. See the guides on Home and on your inbox.

What the list is
The page is built from the work that already exists elsewhere. It does not hold its own records. Doing the work in its own place is what clears a task.
Jobs are grouped by how urgent they are. Overdue jobs are past their date. This week jobs fall due in the next seven days. Later jobs are further off.
Kinds of job
- Write-up jobs: a draft to finish, a write-up sent back, one overdue, or one waiting for sign-off.
- Planning jobs: a plan that is due, or sent back to you.
- Goal and plan checks: learning-plan checks and goal checks that are due.
- Report jobs: half-term reports to start, to sign off or to release.
- Consent, onboarding and routine checks, and course evidence to check.
- A reminder to set up two-step sign-in.
Managers also see jobs for venues, such as routine checks. DSLs see them for their own areas only.
Filter the list
Under Show there is one chip per kind of job, with a count. Select a chip to show only that kind. Select another to add it. Select a chip again to take it off.
The count tile changes to show how many of your jobs the filter is showing.
Sign-offs you cannot do yourself
A write-up you wrote cannot be signed by you. It appears as Yours · another manager signs so you know before you click. You can still open it and see where it has got to.
Pattern alerts
Sometimes a nightly check raises a pattern alert for a young person. A button called View context shows why: attendance, wellbeing trend and open concerns. It is advice only. Read the record before you act.
