For managers and admins. Anyone else who opens the address is taken to the Courses part of the record.
Steps
- On Courses & awards, press Update on the person's row. Their page opens, often as a pop-up.
- Read the top strip: courses under way, units this year, certificates, Functional Skills, attendance and engagement for six weeks, and the last visit.
- Under Staff on courses, check who works on each course.
- Update AQA units, Functional Skills, Junior Duke and other courses as work moves on.
- Look at Evidence waiting to be checked and check anything ready.
- Press Record a visit after an observation visit.
- Close the page. The board behind it is already up to date.
If it goes wrong
- If a section says it could not be loaded, close the page and open it again.
- If someone listed is no longer active, they are marked so. Replace them under Staff on courses.
- If you meant to change the learning plan, use How they learn best on this page.
How it links together
These panels are the same ones as in the record's Courses tab. A change here is the same change there. It also moves the numbers on Courses & awards and the claims.

The sections
- AQA units, with their stage and certificate.
- Functional Skills, with the starting level and current level.
- Junior Duke challenges and certificates.
- Other courses and programmes with milestones and evidence.
- Certificates by half term.
Who works on each course
Each course can have staff attached. They see their own units to work on and certificates to give. Someone who is no longer active is labelled as such.
Visits
Record a visit logs an observation visit. The overview uses the date to flag people with no visit this half term.
Learning style
How they learn best is taken from the learning plan. Editing it here edits it there.
