See and record your own training

Find what to do next, record a course you have done, and ask to join a session.

Checked against the screens:

Every organisation can choose its own words for the people and roles it works with. When you are signed in, this guide uses your organisation’s words. Otherwise it uses the product’s own.

What your staff see: this part of the video shows the page from the learner's side.

For every member of staff. This is your own training, not training for young people.

Steps

  1. Open My training from the menu.
  2. Read Your plan. It shows what to do next, what is under way and what is coming.
  3. Look at courses marked Compulsory or Not done yet. Do the ones that matter most first.
  4. Open a course to see its files and its parts.
  5. When you have done it, add the date and evidence, then press Save completion.
  6. Under Training sessions, press Ask to join for one you still need.
  7. If you cannot go, press Give my place back or Withdraw my request.
  8. Tell a manager if a date is wrong so it can be set again.

If it goes wrong

  • If the page says your sign-in is not linked to a staff record, open Settings and then Profile once. That sets it up.
  • If the page cannot load, reload it. Tell your manager if it keeps failing.
  • Your completion is not counted until it is signed off. Tell your manager if it is waiting.
  • Do not record training you did not do.

How it links together

What you record feeds the team compliance figure and your printed transcript. Reminders can follow when training is due. Managers see the same record on your staff page.

Your plan

The plan groups work by when it is needed. Today and now come first. Then what you should do next, then what is under way, then time set aside.

Did you do it?

If a booked time has passed, you are asked whether you did it. If you did, record it. If not, tell your manager so the time can be set again.

Recording a course

Open the course, enter the date and add evidence such as a certificate. Press Save completion. A manager or admin may need to sign it off before it counts.

Group dates

Group dates are listed under Training sessions. You can see ones you are on and open ones for training you still need. Some are full, so you would join a waiting list.

Asking to join may wait for a manager to approve it. Add to calendar adds the date to your calendar.

Compulsory and optional

Compulsory courses are required for your role. Optional courses are extra. A manager may set a date for the compulsory ones. Until then, do the ones that matter most for your work first.
