For admins. Others are told admin access is needed. This page points to People for invitations and roles.
Steps
- Open Sign-off routing.
- Under Organisation defaults, choose the default sign-off manager and DSL.
- Check the page says the change was saved.
- For one mentor with a different arrangement, find them in the list.
- Change their line from the default to the person you want.
- For invitations, press Open People roles and access.
- For who sees which section, press Manage section access in People.
- Look at Chase emails for reminders sent to the team.
If it goes wrong
- If the routing request is refused, ask an admin to check your access, then reload.
- If a change cannot be confirmed, press Reload sign-off routing and check before trying again.
- Anyone with access can still cover when needed. Routing only sets the default.
- If a leaver is the default, change it before they go.
How it links together
Changes here decide who is asked to counter-sign. Section access and invitations are managed in People; see the guide on inviting a person. Chase emails use the same people.

What this page is now
Invitations and roles moved to People. This page keeps the routing of sign-off and a link to the chase emails. The text at the top says so.
Sign-off routing
When a mentor sends in a write-up, it goes to a default person to counter-sign. The organisation default covers anyone with no specific person set.
Per-person choices
Search for a mentor and choose a different manager or DSL for them. Choose use organisation default to put them back.
Section access
Section access switches parts of the system on or off for each person. Each starts from a sensible default for the role. Safeguarding sections are marked. Admins always have full access.
Seats
Invitations and starter accounts use seats. Withdraw an invitation nobody will accept to free the seat.
Chase emails
The chase emails section links to the reminders the team receives for late write-ups and plans. Read it before changing who is chased.
