For managers, admins and the DSL. Only managers and admins can resend or cancel an email.
Steps
- Open Attendance from the menu. The page is headed Today's collection emails.
- Choose how far back to look: Today, Last 7 days, or a longer stretch.
- Read the counts at the top: sent, pending, failed, overdue, cancelled and no target.
- Open Failed. Press Resend on each line, or fix the cause first.
- Look at the overdue list. Each line is a session that has started but has no stamp. Chase the mentor.
- Look at the no-target list. Add the missing school or contact so the next email can go.
- When the page shows All clear., you are done.
If it goes wrong
- If a resend fails, the line says why. Check the address, then try again.
- If an email was sent by mistake, you can only Cancel one that is still pending.
- If you cannot see Resend, you can look but not act. Ask a manager or an admin.
How it links together
Each email starts when someone stamps a pickup on the pickups board. The school or other contact linked to the young person is emailed. This page shows what became of each one. The attendance grid and sharing pages read the same stamps.
- Pickup stampedCollected or not collected
- Email queuedTo each linked contact

The six counts
- Sent: delivered, with the recipient and time.
- Pending: queued but not yet confirmed. This is rare.
- Failed: rejected or lost on the way. These need a resend.
- Overdue: the session has started and nobody has stamped it.
- Cancelled: a pending email that a manager cancelled within five minutes.
- No target: stamped, but no school or contact is linked, so nothing was sent.
Choosing the period
The tabs along the top change the period: today, the last 7 days, the last 30 days, or this term of 90 days. Times are in London time.
Wording and thresholds
Wording & thresholds opens the setup view. It holds the words a parent or school receives, and the lines that count attendance as a concern. An admin edits the wording. A manager can read the board.
Who sees this page
Managers, the DSL and admins can see it. The database decides this by one rule, and a refusal on screen says who to ask.
