Your organisation's details, branding and billing

Set your name, addresses and registration numbers, upload a logo and colours, add public links and find your plan.

Checked against the screens:

Every organisation can choose its own words for the people and roles it works with. When you are signed in, this guide uses your organisation’s words. Otherwise it uses the product’s own.

For admins. What you enter here appears on your public About page, on commissioner PDFs and on emails to schools and families.

Steps

  1. Open Admin, then Organisation details. Check your Display name and your addresses.
  2. Fill in your registration numbers under Registrations. Add a public contact email. Press Save.
  3. Under Organisation branding, set a Short display name of up to twelve characters if you want one.
  4. Choose Upload logo. Use a PNG, JPEG or WebP file under 1 MB. Set your Main colour, and an Optional accent colour if you like.
  5. Check the button preview, then press Save branding.
  6. Add your website and social handles under Website and social links, and press Save website and social links.
  7. To see your plan, open Billing. It shows your Seats used and Billing status.

If it goes wrong

  • If a colour is refused, it is too pale. Main colour needs a contrast of at least 4.5 to 1 against white.
  • If a save cannot be confirmed, reload the page and check what is saved before you try again.
  • To change your web address, ask the platform team. Admins cannot change it.

How it links together

Your details and branding are read by the About page, commissioner PDFs and the footer and logo of emails. Billing reads your subscription, which the platform team sets.

Check the result in the email previews. See the guides on controlling emails and on exporting your data.

What the details are used for

The name, addresses and numbers feed your public About page, commissioner PDFs and the footer of emails. Keep them accurate. A wrong charity number on a report is easy to miss and hard to take back.

  • Display name, and the display address that prints on reports.
  • A registered address, if different.
  • Company number, charity number, DfE and Ofsted numbers, and your ICO registration.
  • A public contact email.

Your web address

The slug and primary host are your organisation's web address. They are shown for reference. The platform team sets them. Email support if they need to change.

Branding

Your logo, short name and colours appear on the website and new correspondence. Safety colours, such as red for alerts, stay the same whatever you choose.

  • Logos are public. Use your organisation's artwork and nothing with personal details.
  • A PNG, JPEG or WebP up to 1 MB works. Image details are removed and a logo and square mark are made.
  • Main colour needs a contrast of at least 4.5 to 1 against white. The page shows the figure as you type.
  • The accent colour is decoration only and needs at least 3 to 1.
  • Leave a colour empty to keep the standard one.

Public links

Website and social links holds your website address, X handle and Instagram handle. Leave a box blank to remove that link.

Billing

The billing page shows your plan, Seats used and Billing status. The platform team sets the plan and seat count from your subscription.

Manage your subscription opens the payment portal where you can update a payment method and download invoices. Before you cancel, download your data from the export pages.

Questions people ask

Who can change these details?

Admins only. Anyone else sees that this page is for administrators.

Why is my colour refused?

It does not contrast enough with white, so text on it would be hard to read. Pick a darker one.

Where did the old Branding and Themes pages go?

They moved here. The old addresses send you to this page.

Can I upload a different logo for emails?

One logo is used everywhere. Upload it once under branding and emails follow.

How do I add more seats?

Seats are set from your subscription. Use the portal on the billing page or ask the platform team.

Does the short name change my web address?

No. It only changes what is shown. Your web address is set by the platform team.
