Use the set-up guide

Work through getting your organisation ready to go live, one step at a time.

Every organisation can choose its own words for the people and roles it works with. When you are signed in, this guide uses your organisation’s words. Otherwise it uses the product’s own.

For admins. The guide takes a new organisation from nothing to live. Everything saves as you go, so you can stop and come back.

Steps

  1. Open Set-up guide in the left menu.
  2. It opens on the step to do next. A step marked Needed before going live comes first.
  3. Read what the step is for. The mark in its corner says where it stands, such as To do, Done, Confirmed, Not for us or Waiting on us.
  4. Do the step. Press its button to go to the page where the work is done. Some steps are done in the guide itself.
  5. A step that can be checked from your records ticks itself. For the others, press an answer such as These look right. You can add A note, if you like.
  6. Press Next step → when a step is finished. Press Skip for now → to leave it for later, and ← Previous to go back.
  7. Show every step lists them all, with where each one stands.
  8. The last step is Switch on reminders and chases. Until you do, no automatic reminders or chases are sent. Safeguarding alerts go out either way.
